The Team

Niyee Ministry has been actively engaged in its mission since 2020, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown. Through its endeavors in regions known for practicing witchcraft and tribal wars, notably Acholi and Karamoja, Niyee has discovered that a Christ-centered holistic approach is essential for bringing genuine and lasting transformation to the lives of people in these areas. One of the pivotal lessons learned by Niyee is the significance of prayer as the fuel and engine driving all their efforts among impoverished and desperate communities. Recognizing the transformative power of prayer, Niyee initiated a prayer movement, embedding it as a foundational practice in their daily activities. From the beginning of each day to its end, prayer is regarded as the primary means to access the divine power needed for bringing about God's transformative work in their communities.Drawing inspiration from Matthew 21:22, which states, "And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive," Niyee emphasizes the centrality of prayer in their work. This reliance on prayer is seen as essential, acknowledging that their efforts would be fruitless without the guidance and intervention of God.Niyee Ministry operates through four distinct departments, forming the structural backbone of their organizational framework:
  1. Mission, Evangelism, and Discipleship: This department focuses on the core aspects of spreading the Gospel, evangelizing, and nurturing disciples to foster spiritual growth within communities.
  2. Community Development: Niyee recognizes the importance of holistic development, aiming to uplift communities through initiatives that address their diverse needs beyond the spiritual realm.
  3. Media and Enterprises: Understanding the role of media in communication and the potential for sustainable enterprises, this department works on leveraging media tools and business ventures to support the overall mission of Niyee.
The multifaceted approach of Niyee Ministry, rooted in prayer and encompassing various departments, reflects a commitment to addressing both the spiritual and practical dimensions of community transformation in Acholi and Karamoja. Through these endeavors, Niyee seeks to bring about positive change, embracing a holistic vision for the well-being of the communities they serve.
